Had to get a bit creative with that Seagate SCSI drive since it runs very hot. It should have a fan blowing on it, so I screwed a 92mm fan in the 2nd HD bay.

you need a 15-17 CRT to get the full 90s effect.

This brings back memories, not necessarily good ones. Moving past the turbo button era, and getting into PC’s that actually move at a decent clip if you are word processing.
You should load netscape and see if it can internet.

Remember the days when motherboards didn’t come with all of the I/O we take for granted, and you had to buy cards in order to properly extend the functionality of your computer?

probably aware, but those Dell cases were lightly-modified Palo Alto ATCX cases. Dell removed the ability to convert it from tower to desktop and made a few other changes, but essentially it’s the same case. the Dimension P200s we got my first year of university had basically the same case.
It was on that system where I learned what an incredible piece of junk the Voodoo Rush was.

no joke- when we decommissioned them, I got permission to gut one and upgrade it for use in my lab. I found what was (I think) the last Pentium 4 desktop board on the market which still had ISA slots; which I needed to run three old (but very expensive) ISA analyzer cards.
